Success at the professional sports level depends on the collective behaviors of the team. The optimum performance of individual players simply is not enough. To win, team performance needs to be managed actively through a strategy focused on success. The strategy needs to be grounded in a clear purpose, a high sense of mission, cooperation and commitment, and a high level of managerial efficiency. To achieve optimum team performance, conventional team building on its own is not enough. In order to transform a team into a high-performing team, you need to go beyond conventional strategies. Our strategy focuses on setting team behavioral goals through the full engagement of the team as a cohesive unit as well as a composite of individual players.
In Full Engagement for Optimum Performance, players will learn how to transform the team so that it is more successful. They will learn how to identify what the team needs to be the most effective, assess the gap between what the team needs and what it currently is doing, and take action to close that gap. Participants will learn how to change the team's behaviors, attitudes, processes, etc. in order to improve business results. They also will learn how to direct their individual performance into a sustained optimum team effort. The result will be the transformation of the team and improved performance.
