  Ann was born in Tennessee and grew up in a home filled with great food and a love of entertaining.   In June of 1993, Ann opened Real Food Daily, the restaurant, in Santa Monica. Antithetical to the dreary perceived notion of a vegetarian restaurant, RFD's décor of blond wood, clean lines, cozy counter space and eclectic art perfectly complements the innovative style of Ann's gourmet whole food. The West Hollywood location opened in 1998 and has been written about in numerous publications, praised not only for the food but also for the light and modern vibe and the recycled rich teak wood used on table tables, counter bar and throughout the dining room.
  
  Ann's recipes have been published in The Los Angeles Times, Vegetarian Times, and various food industry trade magazines. Ann has been featured in Cooking Light, Fit, Fit Yoga, Veg News and articles and reviews of Real Food Daily have appeared in Esquire, Self, Allure, Longevity, Los Angeles Magazine, US Weekly, InStyle, and Daily Variety, among others. Ann is the executive chef to Vegetarian Times magazine, where she contributes recipes and articles about healthy eating and lifestyle. In 2006-07 Ann penned her own bi-monthly column about food and children for a magazine in the UK called Junior: The World's Finest Parenting Magazine. In 2007, Ann was the spokesperson for SOYJOY, an all-natural nutrition bar made with whole soy.
  
  Because her creations are absolute originals, Ann Gentry has been instrumental in raising the profile of vegan cooking. Ann has appeared as a guest chef at the Canyon Ranch in Arizona, Pritikin Longevity Center, Robert Mondavi Wine Center, Natural Foods Expo and annually at the Environmental Media Awards in California. She has also taught at the annual conference of the North American Vegetarian Society, toured Texas teaching at Central Market and inspired 350 graduate students at the World Arts & Cultures program at UCLA.   Ann has filmed 52 episodes of a half-hour cooking show called Naturally Delicious with Ann Gentry, which airs on the Veria channel on The Dish Network and Verizon cable. Ann has also appeared on a multitude of television shows, including the Today Show, TV Guide show, and several shows on the Discovery Channel most recently, as a celebrity chef host on Planet Green/Supper Club. She has also appeared on the Food Network in several of their shows, most notably on Bobby Flay's Food Nation.
  
  After years of requests from customers, Ann has written her first cookbook, The Real Food Daily Cookbook (Ten Speed Press, October 1, 2005; $24.95 (CAN $34.95), ISBN: 1-58008-618-7). Ann is currently at work on her second book, entitled Real Food Now, Modern Meatless Meals for Eco-Friendly Eating.

The Hollywood lifestyle, while offering its share of glamour, left her ultimately unfulfilled. "I didn't feel I was being of service," she reflects. "It was all about me."
  
  Anna decided to pursue an interest in cooking. She became an assistant to revered organic chef Akasha Richmond, whose catering company, Akasha's Visionary Cuisine, has served a discriminating A-list celebrity clientele for fifteen years. Anna's work with Akasha gave her a deep understanding of the complexity, sophistication and healing powers of organic cuisine. And brought her to the world of yoga.
  
  Akasha introduced Anna to legendary yoga teacher Gurmukh Khalsa (who has taught Cindy Crawford, Madonna and others). It was then that Anna made a decision to not just live a healthy and balanced lifestyle, but to teach it to others. She became a certified Kundalini Yoga and Prenatal Yoga teacher and specializes in women's yoga. She is on staff at Golden Bridge where teaches a variety of classes and workshops.
  
  After her marriage to screenwriter Gregory Pruss, Anna started an innovative Conscious Preconception plan for pregnancy. Perhaps it was fate, but three weeks after receiving her prenatal yoga certification, Anna became pregnant. She was amazed at the positive effect - both physically and mentally - that a regular yoga regimen had on her pregnancy. And, again, she wanted to share it.
  
  Anna was pleased to unveil her debut DVD collection: Anna Getty's Pre and Postnatal Yoga Workout, which launched nationwide in April of 2008. The DVD box set includes 2-discs, the first aimed at expectant mothers, with the goal of a graceful, peaceful birth for the child, while simultaneously providing peace, stretching and respite for the mother. The postnatal DVD, with the admirable goal of helping new moms meet their physical (and emotional) post-baby challenges. Equally ideal for beginners or seasoned practitioners, both DVD's approach are smart, insightful and utterly invigorating.
  
  Aiming to empower women with information, Anna founded along with her business partner Alisa Donner, Pregnancy Awareness Month or PAM in of May 2008. @009 marks the second year of PAM. Through this month long campaign Anna provides "how to" ideas and inspiration to show women how easy it can be to make healthy changes in their lives. May 1, 2008 was a celebrity packed kick-off event at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, with Anna as one of the hosts which also included former prenatal student and organic make-up maven Josie Maran.   Anna adds author to her resume and has embarked on a 2-book deal with Chronicle Books. The 1st is a green entertainment book for the holidays called I am Dreaming of a Green Christmas due out in November of 2009. The 2nd is a cookbook titled, Anna Getty's Easy Green Organic due out in the Spring of 2010. Last year she designed jewelry for Energy Muse, titled "Divine Creation." Anna plans to take PureStyle Living even farther: looking to create the ultimate in her green, organic and holistic lifestyle brand through multi-media outlets.

  YOU ARE! you are what you eat you are what you wear you are what you create You are. This simple premise summarizes our philosophy. As spirit, you are complete. You are all-creative, all-knowing, and all-present. The degree to which you are able to express all of this in the body depends on a number of factors: what you eat, what you wear, and what you create. All of these things either will enhance or diminish your ability to express who you are.
  
  We recognize that we are each unique individuals operating from our own information on our own unique journey. We therefore do not advocate a particular way of doing things. Quite the opposite. We present various options that are both healthful and conscionable, i.e., organic, sustainable, local, delicious, and luxurious.
  
  Our mission is to assist you in the process of accessing who you are as fully as possible through education about how what you eat, what you wear, and what you create affect you in body, mind, and spirit.
  
  YOLANDA QUIROZ SOTO, J.D.
  Yolanda Quiroz Soto, J.D. is the co-creator of You Are!, co-Director of IM: Center for Integrative Medicine and co-creator of celebrityaura.biz. She is a pioneer in the Mind/Body field with a focus on teaching individuals how to manifest their full creative potential. Yolanda received her spiritual training in the seminary of the Church of Divine Man, Mountain View, California, the Church of the Rose, Anaheim, California and currently continues her studies in the Church of Aesclepion Healing in San Rafael, California.
  
  Yolanda attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1996, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her focus of study was United States and Latin American economic and cultural history.
  
  She graduated from Stanford Law School in May 2000. In 1998, she clerked for Judge A. Torres, Los Angeles Superior Court Judicial Officer and in 1999 she worked at Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler, Los Angeles, California.
  
  From December 1993 to August 1997, Yolanda worked for the Achieving Styles Institute (ASI), a California-based consulting, training, and research firm. While at ASI, she worked in leadership/management training and crisis management consulting projects for the Egyptian government and a number of Finish, Singaporean, and American corporations.
  
  Her diverse background, education, and spiritual training make her uniquely qualified to teach about the connection between the body and spirit as the means to unfolding our full human potential. Her knowledge of history, leadership and management strategies, law, and spirituality provide a fresh perspective into who we are as pioneers on a journey into the full manifestation of Self.
  
  CHRISTY FUNK
  Christy Funk is the co-creator of You Are!, creator/owner of Belly Sprout, A natural parenting store and resource center dedicated to bringing organic products to mothers and their new babies. She is a veteran mother of two and has been on the path to holistic living for nearly 14 years. Inspired by a Kinesiology course in college, she discovered how our food choices affect our overall well-being. She enrolled in Yoga classes, transitioned her diet to more vegetarian, whole and organic options and began researching holistic healing. When pregnant with her first son, natural childbirth and parenting shifted her perspective on natural living for the whole family which led to the creation of Belly Sprout. It is her mission to teach, share with, and inspire families to achieve well-being through education.
